What is a career persona?
A career persona is a short profile of how you work: the strengths that show up again and again in your experience, the problems you're drawn to and the environments where you perform best. Unlike a personality test, it is built from evidence in your CV — the roles you chose, the results you achieved and the skills you developed.
It's a reflection tool, not a verdict. Use it to spot patterns and language you can reuse in your resume summary, LinkedIn headline and interviews.
Turning your persona into applications
Once you know your strongest themes, lead with them. Rewrite your summary around two or three of them, choose bullets that prove them, and look for roles where those strengths are the core of the job rather than a side note.
