Most resumes are filtered before a person reads them. Your score combines what applicant tracking software needs to rank you with what a recruiter looks for in the few seconds they spend on a first pass.
ATS parseability
Can applicant tracking systems read your name, contact details, job titles and dates correctly? Tables, columns, headers and images often break this.
Keywords and skills
Does your resume use the words recruiters and ATS filters search for in your field — the hard skills, tools and job titles?

What is a good resume score?
Above 80 is strong: the resume parses cleanly and reads well to a recruiter. 60–80 usually means fixable issues such as missing keywords or weak bullet points. Below 60 often points to formatting that ATS software cannot read reliably.
How is a resume score different from an ATS score?
An ATS score focuses on whether software can read and rank your resume. A resume score also looks at what a human recruiter sees: clarity, impact and achievements. CV Scoring reports both in one check.
Which file formats can I check?
PDF and DOCX. Text-based files give the most accurate result; scanned image PDFs are hard for both ATS software and our checker to read.
